Bryan Schmitt won his second trophy at the Guaranteed Rate Bassmaster Elite at Mississippi River. When he saw the bass were not strolling the eelgrass, he looked around for the perfect spot that was shielded from mud caused by a storm the day before. Schmitt started the tournament in third place then squeaked ahead of Canadian pro Chris Johnston by 4 ounces.

Austin Felix scored his first victory in the Bassmaster Elite Series with a five-bass limit that weighed 16 pounds, 3 ounces. Felix opted for spots that dropped off sharply into deeper water with rock piles on the bottom. His strong start paid off when if came to calming himself down at the finish.
Jacob Wheeler secured his second-consecutive AoY title for the Bass Pro Tour. Wheeler finished the Qualifying Round in 6th place but is now the first pro in Bass Pro Tour to win multiple titles. The six-day tournament showcased 80 of the best professional anglers around the world competing for a top payout of $100,00.

Buddy Gross Wins 2022 Elite Series Harris Chain of Lakes
Buddy Gross overcame struggles in his practice rounds to earn the second Bassmaster Elite Series win of his career Sunday on the Harris Chain of Lakes. Gross, a Tennessee-based professional, landed 77 pounds, 11 ounces over the four-day event, including two days with at least 22 pounds, to win by nearly three pounds. Wes Logan Gets First Bassmaster Elite Series Victory At Neely Henry Lake
Logan now has countless new reasons to think fondly of his home water after claiming the tournament title here on Championship Monday. The 26-year-old from Springville, only a 30-mile drive from the Gadsden City Boat Docks, caught a four-day total of 20 bass weighing 57 pounds, 9 ounces. He capped the competition with a 14-1 limit Monday, the third-heaviest of the day. Logan earned $100,000 for the win, his first in 26 B.A.S.S. events.
